Behind the brand
Jake’s story started with a simple cut that turned into a far more serious infection that nearly cost him his arm. The doctors saved his arm but gave him a firm warning to look after his hands! Even still, and true to form, he went straight back to the job site.
His mum Maree decided to step in, and determined to help, she searched for a hand repair cream Jake would use, but everything was either too greasy, too perfumed or too heavy. So, with the help of a Sydney pharmacist, she created a formula that was tough enough for Tradies but light enough to use every day. And just like that, Aussie Man Hands was born.
What began as Jake’s hand cream soon caught on with his mates, and word spread. Fast forward to today, and what began as one bloke’s hand cream is now used by hardworking hands everywhere.
