Floradix has been a work in progress and under new ownership – since 1962. That’s when Salus-Haus bought the brand, and they’ve been making it better ever since. The original formula, for example, contained just 3mg of iron per 100mL. It’s now 82mg, with much better bioavailability thanks to in-house research that discovered how well the human body absorbs iron contained in yeast – and developed a recipe that blended yeast with iron-rich fruit juice to exploit the fact.
