Alessandro Rocchi always brushed his teeth twice daily – so why did he keep on getting cavities? In trying to answer that question, Alessandro discovered that oral health reflects overall heath and began making many healthy lifestyle changes. He also began making his own natural, nontoxic toothpaste, and when he was invited to sell it at a neighbourhood farmers’ market in 2014, Georganics was born. The company owes its subsequent growth to all its satisfied customers, but particularly to one - a banker by the name of Charles-Henry van Boxmeer who liked Alessandro’s toothpaste so much that he quit his job in the City to become Managing Partner at Georganics.
Founded in England in 2014, Georganics has quickly become a prominent purveyor of natural tooth-care products throughout Europe. They make their toothpastes and mouthwashes exclusively with plant-based and other natural ingredients – no slipping in synthetics and chemicals like SLS and triclosan, as many “natural” manufacturers do – and they make them by hand in small batches. They pay just as much attention to their packaging, using compostable boxes and recyclable/reusable glass-and-metal jars so there’s no waste to damage the environment.
