Here’s a recipe for making savory sesame crackers that are gluten free. These crispy snacks are calling out to be scooped into your favourite dip: hommus, tsaziki, guacamole; all perfect partners for these crackers!
Ingredients
- 1 cup low carb seeded bread or low carb sr flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp sesame seeds, for the top of the crackers
Method
Preheat the oven to 190°C
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, seeds, baking powder and salt and mix
Then add the oil and water and bring the dough together with your hands
Flatten the dough out into a lined baking tray and score into your desired cracker shape
Brush the top of the crackers with olive oil and sprinkle on the remaining sesame seeds
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
Cool before slicing
