In business for over 25 years and building on a family tradition of selling fine fruits and nuts stretching back generations, J.C.’s Quality Foods stands for superior taste in all-natural produce. It’s an appealing proposition that’s helped the company grow its workforce, production facilities and distribution networks so that it now employs more than a hundred people throughout Australia and (since 2005) exports to other countries as well. J.C.’s supports Australian farmers by sourcing their almonds, macadamias and walnuts from South Australia, Byron Bay and the Goulburn Valley whilst securing other ingredients from quality international growers.

Joseph Cannatelli is the J.C. in J.C.’s Quality Foods, which he founded in 1994 and still operates as a family business. Only appropriate, as family’s what led him into the fruit & nut industry to begin with. The Cannatellis had been selling produce in Australia for several generations before Joseph was born, and they kept right on after. He grew up helping out with the wholesale business and was soon managing a fruit shop of his own. Now that he’s moved on to become Managing Director of J.C.’s, he remains dedicated to keeping the independent retail/wholesale produce ecosystem thriving.
