Ceres Organics Shoyu is specially harvested from organic soy beans that are fermented naturally using koji (aspergillus spores) and left to mature over several months in wooden canisters. This creates a rich and robust flavour. No artificial additives or preservatives added. Shoyu is recommended as an all purpose seasoning. It brings out the zest of vegetables, fish, casseroles and soups. To maximize its unique flavour, Shoyu is best added to food in the last few minutes of cooking.

In 1982, some like-minded Kiwis got together with the same idea of making organic food accessible to New Zealand families.
