Meet the Barbell Boys: Luke, Rory, Matt and Tom. Luke and Rory grew up in the South African bush, and when they moved to Australia they brought along a love for outdoor adventures which met its match in Aussie natives Matt and Tom. As the four friends roamed the Australian bush together, they realised they needed more than sugary, preservative-filled snacks to keep them going - they needed a real food with lots of protein! So Luke and Rory went back to their roots and made a batch of biltong in their grandmother’s cupboard. All the Boys loved it, and when they found out that everybody in Canberra and the rest of the country loved it too… well, they’d always loved adventure more than their jobs, so they quit and started a new adventure called Barbell Biltong!
