Celebrating 150 years in business in 2005, the natural remedies company Martin and Pleasance has a rich history. With its origins in 1855, the business was taken over by Mr R. J. Martin in 1864 with Charles Pleasance joining the business in 1878. Mr Pleasance was elected the first Lord Mayor of Melbourne . Fast forward to today and the company is no longer owned by the Pleasance family, though the Martin and Pleasance tradition of selling quality homeopathic remedies of integrity, quality and innovation remains very strong. Along with the key Martin & Pleasance formulas, the company encompasses various other natural remedies brands which include Spatone, Bach Flower remedies, the Homeopathic Complex range and more.
