The Fresh Chai Co was born from Adam Donoghue's desire to recreate the Chai he had experienced at yoga retreats and intimate festivals. There Chai was more than just a beverage, it was a soulful experience, lovingly prepared and served with care, attention and warmth.
Determined to bring forth a chai that captured the essence of those memorable moments, Adam embarked on an entrepreneurial journey founding ‘The Fresh Chai Co’. He began by carefully selecting certified organic spices, grown using Fairtrade practices and where every ingredient was treated with care and attention. Then using traditional techniques he stone milled and hand ground the whole spices, infusing them with raw honey or agave ( vegan ) and whole vanilla for weeks, perfecting his sticky Chai and succeeding in his mission of bringing his nostalgic Chai experience into cafes and homes around Australia.
Serving as a testament to Adam's unwavering pursuit of Chai excellence, The Fresh Chai Co has recently earned the well-deserved title of 'Best Chai Tea Brand in Australia' for two consecutive years running ( 2021 and 2022 ).
