Started by a couple about 10 years ago, Downunder Wash Co. is a sustainable brand that is suitable for use on reusable clothes like cloth pads, period undies and washable nappies. But that’s not the only awesome thing about them. The alkaline cleaner in their Stain Remover Powder can remove poo, oil, chocolate, makeup and other sorts of stains from synthetic and organic fabrics. They have a range of scented and unscented soaps and powders to let people choose whatever works best for them.

About 8 years ago, Jenny was facing some trouble finding a detergent that could remove blood stains from reusable pads and undies. So along with her partner Marcus, she decided to take things into her own hands and formulate a laundry soap specifically suitable for reusable menstrual products  and so Downunder Wash Co. was born. Jenny was already invested in reducing plastic waste caused by menstrual pads and hence, her focus was to produce a cleaner that was non-toxic and highly efficient. They have  achieved this in their products by making sure that they are long-lasting and the stain remover has only one active ingredient which does not need any extra water and bulking ingredients.
