The founders of Franjos Kitchen – Fran and Jo, who’d you think? - met while pushing prams in suburban Melbourne. Jo was a naturopath with a biscuit business and Fran was a lawyer with a baby who wasn’t gaining enough weight. Fran had tried making lactation biscuits on her own, but she suspected that Jo could do better – and she also thought it might make a good business. Jo could and it did, and now Franjos Kitchen has its own factory and a range of all-natural vegan biscuits, crackers and muesli not just for breastfeeding but pregnancy and toddlers too.
