Googys founder Paul Donovan grew up in a family confectionery business, and it’s safe to say that his youthful years of making and selling lollies and chocolates were pretty good preparation for starting his own snack company. The years of eating those sugary sweets, though – well, they weren’t so good for his waistline, or his health in general. He tried exercise, pills, and a host of different diets, but nothing worked until he tried clean eating with real food. Once he saw how much it helped him, he and his wife Lea sold the candy business and created Googys.
