When Tara Tan and her partner Leo were expecting their first child, they struggled to find oral care products that met their personal standards for safety and natural ingredients. This gap in the market inspired Tara, a masters commerce graduate from the University of Auckland to launch 'Grin'.

Good oral care is essential for overall well-being and Tara believes in developing lifelong healthy habits from a young age. She is passionate about educating parents on safe and environmentally responsible oral hygiene practices and has established both community outreach programs and impactful international partnerships with organisations such as UNICEF, PADI and UN Environment Programme. Through Grin, Tara and her team have been able to a globally advocate for better oral health and sustainability and to instill lasting change in the oral hygiene industry.
