The first two are specially saponified coconut and olive oil, which provide the cleansing power plus skin-friendly moisture and antioxidant protection. The other two are guar gum and xanthan gum, and if those sound familiar it’s probably because you’ve seen them among the ingredients of all-natural vegan foodstuffs. Here, they’re used to thicken the oils and make them more water-soluble and foamy to increase their effectiveness as a soap.
