Niugini Organics was born from the personal journey of Debra Hill and her husband Dennis. They founded their company out of a genuine desire to revive the coconut industry on their native island Emirau, in Papua New Guinea.

Driven by Dennis's background in agricultural science and Debra's deep connection to her homeland they began experimenting with small-scale coconut oil production on Kar Kar Island during the early 1990’s. This endeavour organically evolved into Tropic Frond Oils Limited and the Niugini Organics brand.

Despite facing setbacks such as volcanic eruptions that devastated their initial operations they have remained resilient and committed to supporting local communities and bottling up a bit of their homeland for the world to enjoy.
