Product Description
This is authentic Sushi Gari – the pinkish, pickled ginger always served with Sushi at traditional Japanese meals. It’s prepared by steeping fresh-sliced ginger in ume plum vinegar along with red shiso leaves (which account for the characteristic colour) and brown rice syrup (which gives the slight sweetness). A must-have for cleansing the palate during sushi meals, Sushi Gari also makes a great salad ingredient.
