For Mad Millie it all started with cheese. From a small kitchen in the windy capital of Wellington, New Zealand, a collective of foodies came together to create a cheese like no other. The result was so delicious and the process of making food from scratch so satisfying, they wanted share it with the masses. In a nod to those who go a little mad for something they’re passionate about, their venture was dubbed Mad Millie. That was close to 10 years ago, and since then Mad Millie’s passion for sharing a love for creating food from scratch has grown to include brewing kits and fermenting kits as well as a range of vegan-friendly kits alongside the cheese making kits that started it all. All along it’s been about inspiring slow living with a side of creativity, really paring things back to basics to give people a glimpse of what they can create with their free time (sans screen time) and the connections they can form with their loved ones in doing so.
