Ambrosia Honey is dipped in Australian history and owes its roots to Somme veteran Arthur French, who in 1919 began his bee keeping business on his farm in NSW. His passion for quality honey production using organic methods was later passed down the family line to son Jack and his son-in-law Brian who created the well-known Ambrosia brand and continued to produce additive and chemical free unblended honey. In 1989, thanks to their continuation of using organic production methods and following the high standard footsteps of their predecessor Arthur, Ambrosia was recognized as the very first Australian company to be awarded an organic certification.
The nearly century old family business has flourished through two generations of bee loving and organic minded apiculturists to become the popular Australian known and loved brand of delicious honey enjoyed by Aussies every day.
