AussieZinc, owned by Vicky a mom of 4, was developed out of necessity and frustration to find a safe sunscreen for her kids. Living in Australia where sun exposure is just part of everyday life, she found it extremely difficult to find a sunscreen that didn't contain chemicals and yet still provided the strong protection she was looking for. Vicky would wear the "traditional" zinc sunscreens, but they are extremely thick, difficult to wear, and typically had a white residue. On top of this, she had also experienced skin irritation and developed what she called "sunscreen acne". Vicky borrowed on her product development experience and partnered with high quality Australian manufacturers to create AussieZinc; a gentle mineral sunscreen designed for children, people with sensitive skin, and active families. AussieZinc products are TGA-registered and FDA and dermatologist approved.
