You'll be in 'nice cream' heaven with this divine Chocolate Swirl Banana Nice Cream, so good you'll want to devour a bowl at every meal. And it's so wholesome, you probably could! Ice-cream for breakfast? Why not.
Ingredients
- 6 bananas, peeled, cut into halves and frozen
- 1/2 cup-1 cup canned coconut cream
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
TOPPING IDEAS
- Your favourite Loving Earth Chocolate
- Cacao nibs
- Hazelnut Chocolate Sauce
- Berries (Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
- Crushed hazelnuts
Method
- Place the frozen bananas in a blender on high, gradually adding in the canned coconut cream. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour half the mixture into a lined baking tin.
- Add the 3 tbsp. of cacao powder into the remaining mixture and blend on high until all combined.
- Pour the cacao mixture over the plain mixture in the lined baking tin.
- Using a skewer, gradually incorporate the cacao mixture through the plain mixture to create swirls, ensuring not to over-mix.
- Freeze for approximately 20 minutes to an hour until set.
- Remove from the freezer. Using an ice-cream scooper, scoop into waffle cones or into prepared bowls and decorate with your choice of toppings!
