Dr Wheatgrass

Dr Wheatgrass was founded by Dr. Chris Reynolds, a Melbourne-based GP with a keen interest in the potential benefits of wheatgrass extract. Exploring its use on his own patients, Dr. Reynolds decided to harness the goodness of wheatgrass extract and develop a line of wheatgrass-based ointments and liquid tonics. That was back in 1995 when wheatgrass was only just being explored for its potential benefits, typically taken as an oral ‘shot’ that’s said to be rich in nutrients and chlorophyl. Today, the Dr Wheatgrass range includes Skin Recovery Cream, SuperShots, SuperBalm, and Skin Recovery Spray; all made using an extract of wheatgrass before the plant reaches maturity to capture the plant’s unique bioactive properties.
