Plenty Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil’s pleasant, mildly nutty flavour alone would make it a favourite for salads, but it’s even more famous as a vegan source of the omega-3 essential polyunsaturated fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid – in fact, flaxseed oil contains more ALA than fish oil! Pressed Purity’s organic flaxseed oil is cold pressed, and it’s best to keep it cold; heating it will degrade the ALA and turn it bitter, whilst storing it in the refrigerator (or even the freezer) will help preserve the taste and nutritional content.
