Base Soaps was founded in 2017 by social entrepreneurs Mick and Lianne. Starting life as DIY Christmas gifts for friends and family, Base Soaps has naturally evolved into a successful business that produces tens of thousands of soaps annually. When they started out they didn’t want to make just any old soap; they wanted to make soap with impact. Following an unwavering convention they create all-natural cleansing products that respect both your skin and the planet. Their range is entirely vegan, cruelty-free and packaged in sustainable packaging (with zero plastic in sight). No nasties, no drying out skin, and no ingredients that may be detrimental to the environment. But Base Soaps is about more than these two impressive feats. They’re also on a mission to empower regional Australia through funds and support generated by creating quality soap that enriches peoples’ lives and creates a positive impact on community and the environment.
