Product Description
Lotus Lecithin Granules are made from a concentrated form of soy. They’re pale brown in colour with a slightly nutty taste.
Lecithin is often used as an emulsifier in cooking but can also be sprinkled over cereal, yogurt, fruit, smoothie bowls and more to add a boost of nutrients.
Soy lecithin contains omega 3 & 6 fatty acids as well as vitamins E, K and choline. There are a slew of potential health benefits thought to be associated with soy lecithin, with health enthusiasts incorporating it into their diet to help improve cholesterol, boost immunity, relieve stress, improve brain function and more. Baked goods that benefit from adding lecithin include: bread, cakes, muffins, and doughs. It’s also a good emulsifier in homemade vegan chocolate and nut milk ice creams.
