It makes a great follow-on for their botanically-based colour treatments, and it can also help heal hair damaged by more chemical-intensive colouring procedures. It’s safe and suitable for frequent use, as it’s 100% free from harmful additives such as ammonia, formaldehyde, heavy metals, mineral oil, parabens, paraffin, resorcinol, silicone and sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). The natural components it does contain include strengthening wheat protein (which significantly reduces breakage), nourishing rock rose and lemon, hydrating lavender, and softening biological polymers and lipids. Perhaps the most important ingredient, though, is sunflower extract, which supplies age-defying antioxidants and also seals split ends to stop the colour from leaching out.
