Boston Baked Beans - Ready in 15 minutes

This delicious baked beans recipe is packed full of flavor and fiber.

Ready in just 15 minutes, this is a nutrious breakfast or a mid week meal the whole family will love. 

Serve with toasted Wholegrain bread. ENJOY!

Ready in 15 minutes

dairy-free   egg-free    gluten-free

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Ceres Organics Organic Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed
  • 2 rashers free-range bacon diced (leave out for vegetarian option)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Ceres Organics Organic Demerara Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cans Ceres Organics Organic Baked Beans, Low Sodium

 

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, cook the bacon and onion in olive oil.
  • Add molasses, brown sugar and mustard.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the baked beans and gently heat through for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with your choice of bread.
