Navratan Korma is a recipe that originated in the 16th century and is made with 9 key vegetables.
Ingredients ( Serves: 8 )
- 1/2 jar Plantrich Organics All-Purpose Cooking Paste
- 1kg organic vegetables, cut to preferred size (carrot, cauliflower, capsicum, corn, green beans, potato, peas)
- 1 tbsp grassfed organic ghee (for vegan option substitute with olive oil)
- 3/4 can of coconut cream
- 1/2 cup cashew nut paste (optional)
- 1/2 cup sauteed cashews and sultanas (optional)
Method
- Cook the vegetables in boiling water.
- Heat the ghee/oil in a separate pan, add the Cashew nut paste (optional) cook for 2-4 minutes, add the Plantrich Organics All-Purpose Cooking Paste, cook 2-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked vegetables including enough water from the vegetables to cover
- Add coconut cream, stir continuously for 3-4 min.
- Take off the heat, serve with rice or naan bread and Plantrich Organics chutneys, garnish with sauteed cashews and sultanas.
