Oil of Oregano from Whole Earth and Sea combines the antioxidant support of oregano and vitamin E for the maintenance of immune system health. Oregano has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of the aromatic herbs. Numerous studies have associated its benefits with the compounds carvacrol, thymol, and rosmarinic acid. By working to scavenge free radicals, these key active compounds help counteract oxidation within the body. Herbalists and traditional practitioners have long used oregano as a remedy both topically and as a supplement. Oil of Oregano is made from wild-crafted Mediterranean oregano, hand-harvested from the Origanum vulgare plant. To maintain the purity and concentration of its active compounds, the whole herb is gently steam distilled without the use of chemicals.
Each liquid dose contains organic oil of oregano blended in a 1:4 ratio with organic coldpressed extra-virgin olive oil. It is guaranteed to contain at least 80% carvacrol and is available in liquid format
