Chocolate Chickpea Brownies

Why would you put a chickpea in a brownie? Yep, we thought it was a little odd too but you’re going to have to trust us on this one.

These healthy chocolate brownies are rich and delicious but most importantly, they're good for you! With a boost of nutrients and loads of flavour this will be your go-to healthy chocolate brownie recipe in no time.

If you’ve tried our popular Black Bean Brownie recipe you’ll know how good a healthy chocolate brownie can be. Legumes have a knack for making brownies soft and gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. And because legumes are neutral in flavour, even the most seasoned brownie lover won’t be able to taste them.

They’re a great way to boost the fibre and protein content in your brownies. And with nutrient-packed teff flour and a hidden veggie in the ingredients list as well, you’ll be loading up on fibre, protein, vitamins and essential minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium. A win for your tastebuds and your health.

After all, who doesn’t love a chocolate brownie you’ll never feel guilty about going back for seconds for?
